Marketing specialist joins Bridon Singapore

Bridon, a global technology leader in the manufacture of wire and fibre rope, has appointed a new marketing and communication co-ordinator.

Cecil Lum Mun Wai, has taken on the new post to work for the Bridon Group, based in Singapore.

Jennie Ferguson from Bridon said:

“We welcome Cecil to the group and look forward to working with her to strengthen our marketing and communication across Asia.

“This is a very important region for Bridon and we recognise that we have a fantastic opportunity to communicate with both current customers and potential customers to raise awareness of the capabilities of our technologically advanced ropes.

“Our £30 million factory in the UK manufactures the largest and most complex ropes ever made, in package weights of up to 650 tonnes, boasting enhanced breaking loads, optimised bend fatigue performance, effective lubrication, and minimal rotation under load.

“As a global technology leader we have one of the world’s most advanced facilities for the development and testing of offshore ropes, the Bridon Technology Centre, where we are constantly pushing the boundaries of current rope capabilities and finding new solutions to the problems posed by deeper waters.”

Cecil joins Bridon after working in the marketing team for an oil and gas company in Singapore for six years.

Cecil said:

“Bridon is a great company and I feel very proud to be joining the team. They have a wonderful reputation across the globe for delivering high quality, innovative products.

“I am looking forward to working with the team both in the UK and USA to develop innovative marketing communication initiatives to help to raise the profile of both the company and its products.”
